*The following is a discussion of a proposed art show.
The island is not quite ready for public visitors, but if all goes as planned, we will be opening up for a short window in February to display a juried student art show. The hillside on the northeast side of the island has been set up for art displays. You will find a gazebo, a variety of display walls, and paths throughout to guide you to either side of the hill, as well as a lookout bridge above the entire space. We’re experimenting with the THiNC book, an object that allows you to insert pages of images or text that users can click through as turning pages.
