Virtual Worlds Education Roundtable

If you’ve been thinking about the value of Second Life® or any other virtual world for education and you already have an avatar in Second Life, it’s time to join the newly re-named and re-focused VWER, meeting Tuesday, 5 January 2010 at 2:30 pm SL time (5:30 pm Eastern). Here’s the announcement:

Please join us for our weekly VW Education Roundtable, Tomorrow, Tuesday, January 5th, at 2:30pm SLT at the CHSSSouth Amphitheater, on Montclair State CHSSSouth.

Our topic for this SPECIAL 1st of the Month Meeting (with Voice) will be:

“Possible, probable, and preferable futures of Education in Virtual Worlds – Redux.”

  1. Hi Lokum, thanks for offering to host. Do you work for Heritage Key?
    Back in November, when the VWER was still the SL Education Roundtable, we did hold a meeting in the Cosmic Gallery and worked with Jon, Meral, and the crew on that. It is possible we’ll hold another one in HK this year, those plans are still being worked out.
