Linden Labs announced the closing of Teen Second Life, which I see as a good thing for Tri-C. Lowering the Second Life account registration age to 16 would allow classes with post-secondary students to create an educational experience that wouldn’t discriminate against some students. There is some sadness about the closing from high schools that have been invested in the Teen Grid, mostly because there might be worries about the safety of their students on the main grid. Understandable.
Take a look at the official Teen Second Life site while it’s still up to learn more about it: http://teen.secondlife.com/
The specific date of the closing has not been determined.
