Grinn Pidgeon is Barbara Pittman, PhD (American Literature), retired.
I was an active participant in Second Life from 2006-2014. I built one educational island and supported faculty and student activities there, and then built a space on leased land for another institution. Both institutions failed to support the efforts in virtual worlds.
I was a semi-active member of the Virtual Worlds Education Roundtable that used to meet each week on the Bowling Green State University Second Life campus and now meets at the Glasgow Caledonian University (http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Glasgow%20Caledonian/193/197/23).
